The Eidolon hand held slit lamp; a portable instrument specifically designed to work in paediatric and geriatric care, domiciliary visits, bedside examinations, post op evaluations, casualty & operating theatres, hospital wards and intensive care.

The system is a portable, precision ophthalmic instrument for the examination of the anterior segment structures and ocular abnormalities. The 510L's unique optical system produces a slit image that rivals that of a tabletop model in brightness, yet weighs only a few ounces. The 20-Diopter loupe on an articulated arm provides magnification for optimum visualisation.

The portable slit lamp operates for hours on conventional AA batteries and is complete with a 5-year warranty for complete peace of mind. An optional blue filter can be supplied for examinations with fluorescein.

Small enough to fit in a pocket or pouch (supplied), this product allows easy examination of any patient who cannot reach a standard slit lamp, whether through infirmity or geography. Due to the inexpensive cost, it can also be readily available in all departments that would not normally be equipped with any type of slit lamp as a standard facility.
